Surfcafe in Norderney

Is simply cult with a beautiful terrace and a great view of the north beach of Norderney. Every time I come to the island, there is a coffee or an ice cream here.

The food was good, but the staff is not very nice.. On one ocassion we had to wait for 30 minutes for someone to take our order while "our" waiter was talking to some random guests... After we ordered the food arrived very quickly tho

Very unfriendly service. If there was room for everyone, we were not served and already at the door we were told that we would not get anything and that we would be served. Not recommendable.

Best food and drinks at reasonable island prices. The selection is enormous and the beach ambience is simply wonderful. To recommend both food and drinks in terms of taste. We stayed here several times in our week long stay and were always happy, especially with the service.

Mega relaxed atmosphere, absolutely delicious food and enough choice of drinks. The service is super friendly and fast. Even in times of Corona you always get a table outside.

Went there for breakfast today. We were greeted very friendly by a nice waitress. We were able to choose a table outside. Sat sheltered from the wind and with a great view of the sea. For breakfast you fill out a piece of paper and tick what you want to eat. Extensive selection of rolls and bread, sausage and cheese, jams, quark, fruit, scrambled eggs, etc. 🥐🍞🍳🧀🥓☕ Everything is appetizingly presented and delicious. The attentive waitress came regularly and asked if everything was okay. This is how breakfast is fun. We paid € 51 for the things we chose and coffee plus juice. A steep price, but you can treat yourself to it on vacation. We felt very comfortable, it was delicious and we will definitely be back

We have been going here for 18 years and we have always been served friendly and the selection of food and drinks gets better every year. We just love it.

Nice place and good service. Unfortunately the food quality is very low, at least for breakfast. They also offer very, very little gluten-free.

Excellent relaxed place for lunch or coffee or beer ;-). We were there about 5 times after surfing. The burger and the open grated cakes were very, very good. The country potatoes are a hit. The dessert was, in my opinion, simply 1/2 scoop of ice cream is the most delicious. The service was casual and pleasant every time. Absolute recommendation!

Went for breakfast there again at the end of the holiday and was not disappointed. Super delicious breakfast, also super friendly service. Will definitely have breakfast there again next year.

Great view. A nice place for everyone, inside and on the versatile terrace, as well as in the fireplace room. Nice and courteous service, always a recommendation at hand. Menu on online operation with QR code but also normally possible for inspection. Great assortment of offers, food and drinks of high quality, as well as little things like sausage, etc. Distances are respected and tables are properly cleaned.

We were in the Surfcafe on 08/20/20, due to the positive reviews on Google Maps and Trip Advisor. The atmosphere of the cafe is very tidy and we really liked it, because you wanted something to eat and drink. But then it started. After we sat down and the waiter walked past us several times and we had often drawn our attention to ourselves, we were allowed to give up our drink requests after about 25 minutes. Then the first doubts arose with us. The waiter also apparently didn't want to serve us, which culminated in the fact that after 50 minutes we could only place our food order. Then we were a little annoyed because it was just too long. But then again it was positive that we got our food really quickly and that it tasted really good. The homemade fries are also not to be despised. All in all, the food was good, but the service left a lot to be desired, so it was only 2 stars for this evening.

We have been regular guests here for many years, we gladly accept waiting times. Fast service, nice staff. Food always good, cocktails are recommended, normal prices. Keep it up, who needs the milk bar? 👍👍👍

A relaxed and very cozy café and restaurant right on the beach promenade, including a view of the sea. Easy to reach on foot and by bike. We ordered the Six Friends Breakfast here and were positively impressed - the selection is astonishingly large, the individual components tasted good and we were all satisfied with the portions. The coffee and the freshly squeezed juices also tasted very good. The staff was friendly and attentive. The prices were reasonable overall. Unfortunately there were no places left for dinner during our stay, but we would love to come back the next time we visit Norderney to try the other dishes as well.

Nicely located directly on the beach promenade. Easy to reach on foot and by bike. Disabled fairly built. Invites you to linger. Service is good. Nice staff even when there is a lot of activity. The menu has something for everyone. From simple coffee to the menu, everything is included. Civil prices.

Top location, nice staff, delicious breakfast until 2 p.m. perfect for late risers, large selection of drinks and delicious milk rice. Beautiful interiors and many outdoor spaces that are mostly well protected from the wind. Unfortunately the weather did not mean well with us, could not experience a sunset, but could watch some surfers doing their tricks.

The surf café team is just on the ball! Super nice, very quick and accommodating. The food is delicious, there is something for every taste and the price is right. We are always very happy to be here. Thanks for a wonderful evening.
